As one of the managing partners of Dickinson Hussman Architects, Donald Hussman directs and monitors all planning and design efforts for the firm. Committed to the creation of exceptional architecture, Don believes that each of the firm's commissions must be resolved with a unique and independent design that is specific to the project and the client. Successful environments that honor programmatic needs are translated into each of the firm's projects.
Don has been recognized by his peers as a superior designer in the field of educational planning and architecture. By keeping current with instructional trends and new learning modalities, he guides the firm by creating solutions that are in concert with advanced educational practices of today.
He is an active participant in the American Institute of Architects Committee on Architecture for Education and is a member of The Council of Educational Facility Planners International.
